Tour Departure

The tour begins with a comfortable bus ride from your hotel in Ölüdeniz or Fethiye. The journey takes about 30 minutes through beautiful forests filled with pine and frankincense trees. Along the scenic route, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Sülüngür Lake.

Mud Bath Experience

Upon arrival in Dalyan, we board boats for our first stop. We’ll visit the spot where Dalyan and Köyceğiz Lake meet. After a 10-minute introduction about the lake’s history, we continue to the famous Sultaniye Mud Bath. Known as the oldest and most active mud bath in the region, it has been in use since the Lycian period. The hot spring pools are rich in sulfur and have incredible healing properties. This rejuvenating experience will leave you feeling refreshed, and your skin will feel smoother and more nourished.

Delicious Seafood Lunch

After the mud bath, we head to a nearby restaurant for a waterfront lunch. The open buffet features a variety of seafood, a local specialty in Dalyan. Dalyan, meaning “fish farm,” is known for its fresh fish dishes. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality food, unlike other providers that may compromise on quality for lower prices.

Lycian Rock Tombs

After lunch, we board the boats again and cruise through scenic channels. On the way to Turtle Beach, we will stop to view the Lycian Rock Tombs. These tombs are the remains of the ancient Kaunos city. A brief stop allows us to explore their fascinating history.

Turtle Hospital Visit

The Turtle Hospital is a unique stop added to our Dalyan Tour. Dalyan is home to the endangered Caretta caretta (loggerhead sea turtle). The hospital was established in Iztuzu to care for injured turtles. Most tour operators don’t include this stop, making this a rare opportunity to visit the hospital and learn about its work.

Turtle Beach

After visiting Kaunos, we continue down the river to Iztuzu Beach (Turtle Beach). This beach is known as a nesting site for the Caretta caretta turtles. These turtles are among the largest hard-shelled turtles in the world. Though evidence is limited, it’s believed they have been nesting in this area for 40 million years. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture these historic creatures.
